The operating reality
Logistics is a high-volume, SLA-bound operation where the workforce is the operation. Hubs and warehouses need pickers, packers and dispatch staff who keep accuracy high under throughput pressure, and last-mile delivery depends on people who turn up reliably, every day, across dense urban and scattered rural routes.
Two things make this hard. Demand is sharply seasonal, so festive surges and sale events can multiply requirements within weeks and then recede. And absenteeism directly breaks the SLA, because an empty slot in a hub or on a route is a missed delivery. The job is sustaining reliable manpower through every shift and every peak.
